Hole's Human Anatomy & Physiology Hardcover David Shier

This book flows nicely. It will be straight to the point without being too wordy. Anatomy is not the easiest subject for me, but this book does a good job of explaining the human body and its functions very clearly and concisely. The diagrams are plentiful and clearly shows all the organs, muscles and bones. These authors make use of drawings, and carcasses. You begin to really understand the function of body systems and exact locations of all the bones, muscles and cavities from the rear, front, side and ipsilateral views .... absolutely every nook and region covered. A good amount of pathology is included in this book.

Shier et al. Continued outstanding tradition of Hole in the 11th edition. Hole was created for the introductory level student and assumes no prior science knowledge by placing emphasis on fundamentals.
This new edition updates a great A & P classic while higher efficiency for the user. The 11 edition of Hole also offers never before technology that combined with the users text offers a fantastic rate solution! Technology such as anatomy and physiology revealed, and the ARIS (assessment, examination and education system), a complete electronic homework and course management system to provide unprecedented opportunities to the classroom on campus or at home!
